Ama Posey is a teaching artist & founder of Ama Posey Studios, an art school based out of Chico, California. Ama aims to serve families of diverse economic backgrounds, & believes that art has the ability to transform a persons confidence, & extracurricular art activities should not be a burden to bear. Families who receive scholarships come from single parent income families, who might live paycheck to paycheck, & who deserve access to art as much as their peers.

   Through community donations, we are able to provide the youth of our community with enriching, self-reflective & life changing art experiences that lead each student closer to themselves.
